Policy on Retraction

The ICMJE Recommendations on Retraction emphasize the importance of addressing scientific misconduct and ensuring the integrity of research. When a published article is marked for retraction following conclusive investigations, the evidence justifying the decision will be shared with the authors listed on the article. Therefore, the public will be informed about the retraction and a warning issued to prevent continuous use of the retracted data. All versions of the retracted article, abstracts and full length, will be marked as retracted both in the electronic and print forms and the archived forms. The effective date of retraction will also be made public.
